Zoom Events will be returning to Cirencester for a second time this year, bringing a colourful Autumn Festival to the Historic Market Place. The eagerly awaited Autumnal celebration will take place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October 2018.
Dozens of stalls will be showcasing homemade, artisan groceries, handmade crafts and street foods from around the world. The event will feature a live music stage, craft beer and cider bar, children’s entertainment plus a seating area allowing visitors to relax and soak up the atmosphere. The event is expected to increase footfall in the town centre and pull in visitors from throughout the area, providing a welcome boost to the local community.
‘Cirencester is a beautiful historic market town and will provide the perfect setting for people to enjoy our Autumn Festival,’ said Paul Kennedy, Director of Zoom Events. ‘Following our World Village Market in the spring, we cannot wait to be back for a second time.’
Visitors to the festival can expect to enjoy ready to eat foods including pork or chicken souvlaki, sweet and savoury crepes, German sausages and burgers with homemade toppings. Doughnuts, luxury handmade cakes, olives, nuts, Turkish delight, award winning British waxed cheese truckles and a range of continental fine foods will all be among the groceries available to take away and savour at home.
Those looking for early Christmas gift ideas or tasteful clothing and home decor will be able to browse a huge range of arts, crafts, clothing and accessories. From Indian rugs, Italian clothing, handmade candles, cushions, clocks, doorstops, tweed neckwarmers and matching dog jackets to handmade jewellery, visitors will be sure to find plenty of unique gifts and home inspiration from around the world!
Cirencester Autumn Festival is free to enter and will be open on Saturday 20th October from 9am to 7pm and Sunday 21st October from 10am to 5pm.
