Cotswold Show & Food Festival 2015 - 4th/5th July 2015
With over 30,000 visitors passing through its gates last year, the Cotswold Show & Food Festival has
firmly established itself as a must-see date in the country show calendar, winning the coveted Cotswolds
Tourism Event of the Year award in 2015 and Highly Commended in the Visit England Awards for Excellence
2015.
This year’s entertainment bill is topped by an air display from one of Britain’s best‐loved aircraft - the
iconic Rolls-Royce Supermarine Spitfire PS853; stunt team Moto Stunts International will thrill the audience
with daredevil quad, motorbike and car jump displays. Carriage Driving in miniature – The Arena Challenge –
will entertain all horse enthusiasts; and freestyle mountain bike team Zero Gravity have a spectacular new act
lined up.
The Show's Apsley Arena provides the central stage for countryside pursuits, including falconry, gun dog
demos, sheep shearing, rare breeds and dog agility.
Horse whisperer Gary Witheford, and performances from Parelli Natural Horsemanship are both included in the
line up alongside a Traditional Rural Skills area hosting a range of countryside crafts and activities.
Foodies are in for a treat at the Show’s new Cookery Theatre, featuring food demos by chefs from award-winning
Cotswolds hotels, restaurants and catering companies and, when you’re feeling peckish, visit any of the
delicious catering stands dotted around the Showground, with something for every taste from free range
Gloucester Old Spot pork roast to gourmet venison burgers.
The 250 trade stands at the Cotswold Show promise a hugely popular shopping opportunity for visitors, selling
everything from clothing to pet supplies.
