Cirencester Advent Festival
The Cirencester Advent Festival takes place on Sunday, 29th of November.
Join us for a day of carols, entertainment, shopping, Christmas lights and mulled wine in the Market Place.
There will also be entertainment and special offers on Saturday 28th as part of 'I love Cirencester at Christmas'.
The Advent Festival Time Table is as follows:
10.30am - 4pm
Advent Market in the Corn Hall.
12 noon - 7pm
The Market Place will be closed to traffic (including Taxis), so that the stage can be set up.
There will be Fair Rides for all the family!
1.30 - 2.30
Story Telling in the Parish Church
2pm
Entertainment on the stage begins with performances from the best of Cirencester's talent!
3pm - 4.45pm
Santa's Grotto at New Brewery Arts. Santa is looking forward to coming to Cirencester and meeting lots of children. Please come along and whisper your wishes! (Free of charge).
3pm - 4pm
Carol Concert by local schoolchildren in the Parish Church. Please drop in for a carol or two, or the whole concert!
4.30 onwards
The Countdown begins! Join us in the Market Place to see the arrival of the Children's Lantern Procession, sing some carols and countdown to the big Switch On at 5.15.
5.15pm
The lights are on and the bells will ring!
6pm
Advent Service in the Parish Church
