Lottery Winners Confirmed From Cirencester
At a press conference this afternoon Nigel Page was announced as winner of £56 million.
Nigel, who runs his own property maintenance business, said he was sitting at the breakfast table with his daughter when a news report said that someone had won in Spain and in Britain. He said to his daughter "perhaps we better go and check the tickets in a minute, see if we've won".
After finishing their breakfast Nigel switched on the laptop and logged into his lottery account. "Up it popped on the screen, Congratulations, you have won 56 million Pounds, and 20p" said Nigel.
He went to wake up Justine and said "you've gotta come and check this"
Justine, who works (or should that be worked!) at estate agents Cain and Fuller on Dyer Street, went downstairs and checked the screen. "I went, Oh My God" she said.
Nigel said he planned to buy a car as he had been a ‘white van man’ for ten years. Justine said she wanted to buy a house where she could ‘open the back door and throw a ball for the dog’.
