BBC's Gemma Dunstan and James Thomas (pic) spoke highly of Sophie's performance which was supported by dancers Mia and Marni (pic), students at Italia Conti Academy

The Cotswold Show was held last weekend at Cirencester Park. A ‘BBC introducing music stage’ was introduced to the event for the first time this year with a line-up of great acts. Amongst the guest performers was ‘Sophie’, an 18 year old Anglo/Maltese singer/songwriter who is currently on tour in the United Kingdom to promote her new single. Despite the weird weather in Cirencester, ‘Sophie’ lit up the stage with a great performance bestowing her Maltese charm with the audience. ‘The Cotswold Show’ was Sophie’s 6th date of her current ‘UK Promotional Tour’ and she has been making new friends wherever she visits.

Cirencester was no different and Sophie was so happy with the hospitality recieved that she tweeted: “Loved every minute of performing at The Cotswold Show today! Thanks for having me =) Oh & Cirencester is stunning!! I'll be back for sure! xoxo”.

More friendships are in the offing for Sophie as next up is a ‘Super Weekend’ where on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th July she will be performing at 4 different events: Love Luton Festival, Festival Too, Ashfield Festival and World Pride Festival London Trafalgar Square. She is very excited to be sharing the limelight with ‘The Wanted’, ‘Lemar’, ‘Marcus Collins’and Canadian R&B star ‘Michelle Cox’ amongst others.

At ‘The Cotswold Show’ Sophie was supported by Mia and Marni, 2 very talented students from ‘The Italia Conti Academy of Theater Arts’. Her 20 minute set was well recieved by the audience and organizers of the event. After the show ‘Gemma Dunstan’ from ‘BBC Introducing’ tweeted to Sophie saying: “ Lovely to meet you and your ladies @CotswoldShow today. Great performance :) x”.

Sophie is signed to British Music and Management Company ‘Thru The Mill’. Watch out for her new single release ‘Sunny’ @ www.totallysophie.com
