No scheduled waste collections in Cotswold District on 21 January. Leisure Services and Museum open

This means that the catch-up arrangements planned for this week - as a result of missed collections on Friday 18 January - will not be started today

Cotswold District Council regrets that its waste contractor, Ubico Ltd, is unable to make scheduled waste, recycling and food/garden waste collections today - Monday 21 January. Although main roads in the district are passable, many side roads are overlaid by large quantities of ice and snow and there are also numerous icy pavements and pathways. Ubico Ltd have reviewed the situation and have assessed that these areas are too hazardous to allow operations to resume.

This means that the catch-up arrangements planned for this week - as a result of missed collections on Friday 18 January - will not be started today. The CDC website www.cotswold.gov.uk will set out revised collection arrangements as soon as practicable.

Leisure centres and the Corinium museum are open today but please see www.cotswold.gov.uk for details and call them in advance if you plan a visit, especially if you have far to travel:
