Love the Phoenix

‘Love the Phoenix’ this Valentine’s Day by showing support for your fantastic youth and community led Phoenix Festival!

The Phoenix Festival Team are hosting a special ‘Love the Phoenix’ free event on Saturday 14th February, 12.00pm to 4.00pm at the Bingham Gallery, in Cirencester and are calling all artists, charities, traders and caterers, potential volunteers and sponsors to drop in, find out more and show some loving support.

“We’d really love to meet you” said Glen Moreman, Festival Volunteer, Manager “there will be refreshments, live music, starring musical duo Ethemia, some inspirational Festival footage and opportunities for you to help us ensure this fantastic music festival is another community success”.

The Team will be on hand to answer your Festival queries, hear your ideas and offer a variety of ways for you to get involved, from sponsoring a stage or barrel of beer, helping with the website, grant applications, administration, or volunteer stewarding. An event of this scale costs £50,000 so every penny, pound or ‘in kind’ support really does count.

Kelly Leadbeater, Festival Volunteer, Assistant Manager added “Input from local young people, the wider community and businesses is vital to keep the Phoenix soaring. So if you’ve been thinking about volunteering, performing, trading or financially supporting the festival in some way, now is your chance. Together we can make 2015 the Festival to really rock the Cotswolds”.

Festival packs will be made available on the day and look out for the Festivals’ mascot ‘Musical Maximus’ ~ the very handsome Centurion Hare, who will be on guard and ready to greet you.

The Festival is the brainchild of Ozone and would not exist without the youth of Cirencester, the charitable support and guidance of the Community Development Trust and the Town Council.
