Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Safe and Well event Cirencester 7th May

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service (GFRS) will be visiting Cirencester town centre on 7th May to talk to residents about how they can stay safe at home. Staff who carry out the safe and well visits fit smoke alarms for free and give advice on personal safety and wellbeing.

The visits are in partnership with Public Health England, supporting the fire and rescue service to address winter issues like flu, falls, social isolation, and cold homes as well as fire safety across Gloucestershire. There will also be other organisations attending such as the Red Cross, Telecare, and the Police.

Residents can also arrange a Safe and Well visit by calling the freephone number 0800 18041 40 or visit www.glosfire.gov.uk
