Santa Monica High School Choir to perform in Cirencester
The choir is under the direction of Mr. Jeffe Huls. Mr. Huls has been the Director of Vocal Music at Santa Monica High School for six years.

Starting off their 2017 Performance Tour of England, The Madrigal Ensemble and Chamber Singers of Santa Monica High School will be performing on Tuesday 04 April, 2017 at 12:45 PM at Cirencester Parish Church. The choir performs frequently throughout Southern California and tours every two years. Previous tours have taken the group to Boston, New York, Mexico, and Italy. Both groups specialize in music from the Renaissance to Contemporary compositions with an emphasis on a cappella music.

The choir is under the direction of Mr. Jeffe Huls. Mr. Huls has been the Director of Vocal Music at Santa Monica High School for six years. There he conducts seven ensembles and oversees three other student- led ensembles. Mr. Huls received his Bachelor’s of Music Education from the California State University at Long Beach where he graduated with honors. There he studied voice with acclaimed tenor Jonathan Mack and conducting with Dr. Lynn Bielefelt. Huls received a Masters in Choral Music Conducting from Western Michigan University.
