Night At The Museum Comes to The Cotswolds!
Spend an evening out with a difference courtesy of Roman hosts at Cirencester's Corinium Museum.
As part of the nationwide 'Museums at Night' promotion, the Corinium is opening its doors to visitors from 6pm to 9.30pm on Friday May 14th.
The evening at the museum has a Roman theme and promises to be a treat for all ages. Highlights include trails of the galleries with a few surprise guests, an exhibition of work by Cirencester College students, and a showing of the comedy thriller 'Night at the Museum 2'.
The curator, John Paddock, explains: "It will be great seeing the museum 'come alive' after hours.
"As well as appealing to our regular patrons, we very much hope that we will be able to attract some first-time visitors who might find it hard to attend during our normal opening hours. It’s also great to be working with the students from Cirencester College who are getting involved with all aspects of the event."
Tickets are limited so early booking is advised.
For more information and to book for the event, please contact the Corinium Museum on 01285 655611 or email museums@cotswold.gov.uk
