80 Squadron's Afghanistan Medals Parade

80 Postal and Courier Squadron, part of 29 Regiment The Royal Logistic Corps, based at South Cerney, returned from Afghanistan to be welcomed by family and friends on 30 April. In total, 38 officers and soldiers from the Squadron deployed to provide postal support to soldiers across the theatre of operations in Afghanistan.

The Regiment recognised the service given by the Squadron with a Medals Parade on 6 May, with Councillor Sheila Jeffery as the presenting officer. 29 individuals received Afghanistan medals for the first time.
