Cirencester restaurant to stage French-style Christmas Eve celebrations

"These Christmas eve celebrations are huge fun - for the guests and the staff; they allow us to put on a real traditional French dinner party night with, we believe, a style and uniqueness generally only enjoyed in Eric's mother country"

Christmas Eve French style supper parties are to be staged in Cirencester's Le Beaujolais restaurant to demonstrate how friends and families hand over gifts to launch their festive celebrations.

All the food on offer will be from the Le Beaujolais classic French menu created by chef and joint owner Eric Lepine, who has become renowned in the both the town and overseas for menus of tradition, quality and creativity.

His business partner, Kiean Glynn, who first met Eric while managing a ski hotel in the French Alps, said:"These Christmas eve celebrations are huge fun - for the guests and the staff; they allow us to put on a real traditional French dinner party night with, we believe, a style and uniqueness generally only enjoyed in Eric's mother country".

The Castle Street restaurant in Cirencester has been open for over two years and is known for special occasions, including fun nights with Tweedy the clown from Giffords Circus, who will be responsible for "another fine mess" on 23rd march. It will be in aid of Acorns, the children's hospice for those with life threatening illnesses. Eric Lepine and Cotswold chef Rob Rees will be taking part in an international cook off in Bishops Walk, Cirencester on 15 December. Tweedy will start the event.

Bookings for both these events can be made by calling 01285 644440.
