More classic films coming to the Corinium

Since last Autumn the Corinium Museum has been screening several classic films which have broad appeal such as ‘North by North West’ and ‘It’s a Wonderful Life.’  The response from the public has been very positive so far, and it is expected that they will also be drawn to the two films which have been selected for August and September.

First off is ‘Roman Holiday’ which is being shown at the Corinium at 7 pm on Thursday 8 August.   Starring Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn, this light hearted ‘princess and pauper’ romance is guaranteed to attract many new fans.  The mood turns more sombre in September when ‘Rear Window’ is screened on Thursday 12th (7 pm.)  Widely acclaimed as one of Hitchcock’s greatest films, James Stewart and Grace Kelly try to uncover whether a murder has been committed in a nearby apartment.

To book your place at a screening, either call in to the Corinium Museum or telephone 01285 655611.
