Police Respond to Second Serious Collision on A417 Near Birdlip
Gloucestershire Police are currently responding to a serious road traffic collision on the A417 between the Air Balloon roundabout and Nettleton Bottom.
The collision happened at approximately 11.35am today (Monday November 4) and involved a car and a heavy goods vehicle.
South West Ambulance Service are currently at the scene, it’s believed two people from the car may have been injured.
The lorry driver is not thought to have been injured in the collision.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 171 of November 4.
Road closures are now in place between the Cowley roundabout and the Air Balloon roundabout in addition to a closure, which remains in place, on Crickley Hill following a fatal collision in the early hours of this morning.
