Cotswold District CAB will close from 31 March to 6 April

"Anyone needing advice during the week can telephone our advice line on 01285 652908"
Nick Lee, Bureau Manager

The Cotswold District Citizens Advice Bureau will be closed from Monday 31 March for 1 week and will reopen on 7 April. The CAB are refurbishing their office to increase capacity to help more people. Nick Lee, Bureau Manager said:
“We are very sorry for the inconvenience this may cause people. Anyone needing advice during the week can telephone our advice line on 01285 652908 or access our email advice via our new website www.cotswoldcab.org.uk”
The CAB has been at 2-3 the Mews, Cricklade Street, Cirencester for over 10 years and the refurbishment is needed so that more people can be helped via telephone, email and face to face.

Nick Lee continued:
“‘We are very fortunate in that nine new advisers have joined our service. The additional advisers, coupled with new technology and updated premises will help us meet the increasing demand for our advice service. Since we took over managing the service on 1 December we have helped nearly 700 households; our refurbished offices will accommodate our increased workforce and will enable us to advise more people.”

The CAB services help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice. In the last three months, the main enquiry areas dealt with by the CAB have been money, welfare benefits, employment and housing problems.
