Police appeal following serious road traffic collision

Anyone who may have any information on the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 405 of June 24

Police are appealing for information following a serious collision.

The incident happened on the A417 near Ampney Crucis at around 5.35pm on Tuesday afternoon (June 24).

The collision involved a black Land Rover Discovery and a 47 year-old male cyclist from Ampney St Peter. The cyclist was taken by ambulance to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon before being transferred to Southmead Hospital in Bristol where he remains in a critical condition. The driver of the Land Rover was not injured in the collision.
