Raining Hard ... But Macmillan's Stratton Show Was A Great Success

"We are thrilled to bits with this amount and would like to thank everyone for their amazing support, despite the weather"
Jenny Jarvis, Cirencester Macmillan chairman

In spite of downpours through the day, Stratton Show, organised by Cirencester Macmillan, raised an amazing £1,688.34 for cancer care and support in Gloucestershire.

And, the organising team were so astonished they had their own ICE bucket challenge at the end of the day.

Cirencester Macmillan chairman Jenny Jarvis said:"We are thrilled to bits with this amount and would like to thank everyone for their amazing support, despite the weather.

"All the stall holders and volunteers refused to let the weather deter them...and so many members of the public braved the rain to support us. Our thanks to the business people who sponsored us. It was absolutely amazing to raise such a great sum".
