Coffee drinkers put Cirencester Macmillan on the road to its best fund raising year ever

Cirencester Macmillan has praised the hundreds of people in the town and district who took part in the charity''s annual fund raising coffee events.
The result was the largest sum ever to be contributed to the group´s Cirencester fund raising, which now stands at £37,000 for the year, with many more events taking place before Christmas.
These include the annual bangers and mash quiz in the Bingham Hall on November 8th, Christmas fair in the Parish Church on December 13th and a fund raising dinner featuring Tweedy the Clown at Le Beaujolais restaurant on October 30th.
Jenny Jarvis, Macmillan chairman said:"The people of Cirencester and district provide truly remarkable support to the excellent events staged throughout the year by our Cirencester committee and friends who always back us.
"Last year the fund reached £44,000 and it is very possible that this will be exceeded by the New Year".
