Detail:
The Tunnel House Inn is a charming 18th Century Cotswolds Inn on the outskirts of Cirencester, making it within easy reach of Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Chippenham, Swindon and even Marlborough.
We will meet at The Tunnel House Inn at 12pm, the course starts there with a short introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.
After the talk we’ll set off for a 2-3 hour walk around the stunning Bathurst Estate identifying the different edible and poisonous plants, flowers, fruits and mushrooms that we find. We will stop somewhere along the way for some of our lovely wild food soup or possibly even some elderflower champagne.
Then we’ll head back to the pub for a tasty wild food lunch including a salad that we’ll pick on the day, hopefully a mushroom dish we will cook in front of you and some other treats that we’ll bring along with us.
There are limited spaces available so please book your place online www.wildfooduk.com
