Cirencester is set to be transformed into a magical winter wonderland this weekend (Saturday November 25th from 10am to 6pm and Sunday November 26th from 10am to 4pm), with live music, enchanting light displays, and artificial snow creating a festive atmosphere in the town centre.

This year's highly anticipated Advent Market will feature over 200 stalls for visitors to explore in Castle Street, Cricklade Street and the Market Place, culminating in a grand lighting ceremony at approximately 4pm on Saturday.

Cirencester Mayor Sabrina Dixon and a representative from Sewell Mullings Logie Solicitors will switch on the lights, which will be projected onto big screens in the Market Place before a silent fireworks display by Cotswold Fireworks.

The festivities will also include performances by local dance and theatre groups, choirs, and musicians at St John's Parish Church on Saturday.

This exciting celebration promises to bring holiday cheer to Cirencester residents and visitors alike and, for many, marks the start of the countdown to Christmas!
