The riders travelled into Cirencester down The Whiteway, turning left onto Grove Lane, right onto London Road, Lewis Lane and Querns Lane, then left onto Sheep Street and Somerford Road before turing right onto Chesterton Lane and then the A429 where they took the A449 at the Stroud Road roundabout out of Cirencester towards Minchinhampton.
