Police are appealing for information after scratch cards and assorted paperwork were stolen from a petrol station in Cirencester.

The incident happened at the filling station on Chesterton Lane at around 4.15am on Thursday August 29.

Offenders driving a silver Volvo drove onto the forecourt and parked up. The two men then forced their way into the shop through a door at the back of the building. Once inside the offenders have made their way to an office at the back of the shop and taken lottery scratch cards, till receipts and a shift timetable.

The first offender is described as white, male and of stocky build. He was wearing a jumper with a 'Bench' logo on the front. The second man was again white and of average build.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 42 of August 29.
